Îlet Caret by boat: what to do and how to get there from Gosier

A sandbank in the heart of the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin

Îlet Caret is a small white-sand islet surrounded by shallow turquoise water, in the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin reserve. It is one of the most popular sea trips in Guadeloupe.

Getting there from Marina du Gosier

Allow 45 minutes to 1 hour of sailing depending on the boat and sea. Our boats have a Garmin touchscreen GPS with routes already saved to the islets, so you sail safely even without knowing the area.

    What to do there?

Swim in the natural pool, snorkel over seagrass and reef, picnic on board, then stop by îlet Fajou and the mangrove. Bring reef-safe sunscreen.

    With or without a skipper?

Several boats can be rented with or without a licence, with or without a skipper. Kiff Caraïbes Nautique, boat rental expert in Guadeloupe, helps you pick the right boat for your group.
